we saw joe biden here last week. but paul ryan was here yesterday. mitt romney will be here tomorrow. bill clinton last night and this morning. there is a lot of surrogate traffic and part of that is because early voting is under way right now and goes on through tomorrow. and both sides are really trying to energize people and get them out to the polls during this week. >> brianna, i'm looking behind you. just quickly peek over the back of your shoulder to your left, air force one just came right into a perfect view for us. thank you very much. but i want to ask you, this was a campaign stop in green bay that was really supposed to happen tuesday, which the president cancelled because of the storm and emergency work that he needed to do. so what did they do? did they go on with the event as scheduled and then add this one, or have they just rejigged the schedule? >> reporter: they sort of adjusted it a little bit. i think it was an evening event was the idea on tuesday. but for instance, charles woodson, who, yes, did make that very generous $100,00

vice president joe biden was campaigning also in the sunshine state today. president obama returns to the campaign trail tomorrow. he plans to barnstorm seven battleground states over the next several days. but today we did not see politics in action. what we saw was government in action. people with authority to make decisions. chris christie is not the first person, i think, that you would think of when you come to the, you know, arena of bipartisan cooperation. he is a mitt romney supporter and a fierce opponent of many democratic issues. for whatever reason, we saw a different chris christie with president obama today. this is what cooperation looks like. when the american people need government to work, these two elected officials became leaders and are in lockstep with each other. about time, isn't it? things are getting done. so many politicians run for office saying that they are going to reach across the aisle when they get to washington, and they're going to get things done when they get elected. most of them never deliver. now, in defense of presi

we have special guests on sunday, just us, vice president joe biden is going to join us on "hardball" sunday night at 5:00 and 7:00. this is "hardball," the place for politics. >>> i saw a campaign ad today. you tell me what this means. >> america is facing problems of historic proportions, and your vote could mean the difference between prosperity and ruin, but who will you choose? will you vote for the elite, harvard educated lawyer who overhauled the health care system or the elite, multimillionaire lawyer who overhauled the health care system? choose wisely, america. >> back to "hardball." first a plug for mitt romney from "the simpsons." here is mr. burns, the fictional and highly unpopular owner of springfield's nuclear plant, in pre-election panic mode. >> i have to say, despite those unimaginably horrible good job numbers, we're feeling pretty confident. there's only one thing that might deny us the presidency that is the god-given property of the republican party. >> the 47% tape? >> nope. >> the empty chair? >> nope. >> cayman islands? >> not a problem. >> swiss bank account

meanwhile vice president joe biden makes two stops in wisconsin. congressman paul ryan begins his day in colorado before flying back to the midwest for a rally in cedar falls, iowa. then he joins romney in westchester in ohio tonight. then there's former president bill clinton for the fifth player in all of this if you will and look at his schedule today in florida. he goes to lake worth, then ft. myers, then st. petersburg, then tallahassee. he's got five events in total today in florida. and you know the way he talks. talk about a hoarse voice by the end of the day it will be interesting to see where his voice is by 8:00 tonight. in the frenetic final days both candidates are giving positive pitches and warnings as to what will happen if the other guy is voted in. and bolder last night the president argued for another four years. >> after four years as president, you know me by now. you know me. you may not agree with every decision that i've made. you may be frustrated at the pace change. i always remind people that when we did the auto bail out
